PBG had been running around the Imperial City and found out why he was taking so much damage in the last episode: All his gear is broken!
PBG is making his way towards Sheogorath's Shrine. Some may remember Sheogorath from when Sheogorath was included in the Top 10 Weirdest/Creepiest Video Game Characters. The people who remember that list or are familiar with Sheogorath may know he is pretty creepy.
PBG arrives at the Shrine and notices that everyone is in their underwear! PBG leaves the offerings to Sheogorath, and Sheogorath gives PBG a quest to make the lives of people living in Border Watch a bit more interesting. Sheogorath tells PBG to ask their shaman about the K'Sharra prophecy. PBG begins his journey towards Border Watch, and finds a dead bandit lying near the Shrine and takes the lockpicks off the bandit.
After some fast forwarding, PBG arrives at the town of Border Watch. PBG finds the shaman inside an inn. PBG asks about the K'Sharra prophecy, but makes the shaman mad by calling the prophecy ridiculous.
After using Oblivion's weird complimenting system, the shaman tells PBG about the three signs of the K'Sharra prophecy. First is the Plague of Vermin, where disease carrying creatures overrun the city. The shaman imagines them being rats. Next is the Plague of Famine, where all of Border Watch's livestock falls dead to the ground with no apparent explanation. The people of Border Watch have only six sheep in their pasture. The third sign is the Plague of Fear, but the shaman won't tell an outsider about it. He could talk about Border Watch itself, but PBG isn't interested.
PBG isn't sure what to do, so he decides to ask about Border Watch itself. The shaman tells PBG about the cheese collection of the inn, and PBG's quest updates. PBG goes to find the inn, but quickly realizes that he already was in it. He tries to rent a room, but he doesn't have enough money. After selling his stuff to get some money, PBG rents the room and sleeps for a few hours. Then he goes to steal the cheese collection. After some problems with lock-picking, he gets the cheese. There is still one cheese left, but PBG loses almost all of his picks in the process. Then the episode fades to black.
