Should we protect this page for only admins to edit? Most wikis do that, just to prevent trolls from editing the page or even just smaller stuff than that. I don't know. Probably not at this point. I've seen staff discuss this, and they say that if admins think that the front page needs protection, it should only be at autoconfirmed users at most unless it is being hit hard by trolls. We're a bit too small for that at the moment. One of the conditions of having wikias promoted is that no pages are to be protected unless they are being vandalized, front page included.
On an unrelated note, I wonder why the talk page for the main page wasn't updated to the forum style talk pages when I updated them. It's weird to go back to signing posts again! Prowler64 (talk) 03:17, September 4, 2015 (UTC)
