Starbound Hardcore Season 1 is the first season of Starbound Hardcore and the fourteenth season overall. This season features PeanutButterGamer, SpaceHamster, Barry, ProJared, Yungtown, Lucahjin, Jirard, and Jesse Cox on their quest to slay Asra Nox.

Result

Jared, Jirard and Jesse all survived the Asra Nox. Unfortunately, Lucahjin died just before the battle, and Luke fell during the battle.

Trivia

• This is the first season of Hardcore for a few things:
  • The first hardcore of a new game in the Todd-era, as well as the first new game of the series since MineZ Hardcore Season 1.
  • The first season since Minecraft Hardcore Season 5 to use new portraits, while altered versions will sometimes appear on screen when a player is angry, asking a question, etc.
  • The first Hardcore without McJones and Dean.
    • Todd has stated that Dean will return for future Hardcores, whereas McJones has retired.
  • The first hardcore to have 8 players.
  • The first season to have a game without death messages.
• This season is the third season where all the players surpass the tenth episode, the first being MineZ Hardcore Season 1 and the second being Terraria Hardcore Season 3.
  • Additionally, this is the first season where everyone surpasses the eleventh episode of the series, as MineZ #1 and Terraria #3 had their first deaths occur in the eleventh episode.
• At 26 episodes, this season is currently the longest season of Hardcore to date.
• This season also is Jared’s first victory, who is noted to have never won despite being in 7 hardcores before this, over a span of 6 years.
