Minecraft Hardcore is the first season of Minecraft Hardcore and the first season of Hardcore overall. The season features PeanutButterGamer, Dean, McJones, and Barry on their quest to defeat the Ender Dragon. They are joined by JonTron, Soah, and TheCompletionist.

Premise

Minecraft Hardcore acts a little differently than how Minecraft is normally played. While all the basic gameplay elements are still present, there is a catch: should anyone die in the game, they are "dead for good," meaning they cannot respawn or communicate with the rest of the group anymore. The series ends when either the goal is succeeded, or everyone dies and the series is a failure.

Jon and Barry defeated the Ender Dragon together. McJones and Dean made it into The End, but McJones was killed by being thrown off the obsidian platform by the Ender Dragon and Dean was killed by an Enderman during the final battle. The two survivors then have a duel to the death, which Barry ultimately wins.
